Masako collection

This collection is named after my grandmother Masako, who used to hand-sew custom kimonos in her home in Osaka. These beautiful garments were going to be discarded, so I decided to give them a second life and turn them into bags.

Each kimono was carefully taken apart, then cut, sewn and knotted by me at my home studio.
